Piccola Fiamma - Little Flame

Sunsets are magical, aren't they? A divine display of multiple colours that cascade in front of you, constantly changing, as if in a dance. The experience can be surreal, almost dreamlike.

I take a lot of inspiration from sunsets, one in particular inspired me to paint this attention-grabbing orange sky, with the vibrant flowers in the foreground. It was the kind of sky that almost looked as though it was ablaze, set on fire by a thousand candles, hence the name ‘Piccola Fiamma’ which translates to little flame; a nod to my Italian heritage.
